Mind-Body skills are highly effective, research-based healing approaches. Mind-Body skills are the least expensive and best documented way to transform our physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual lives. Learning to use the power of mind-body skills can prevent illness, burn out and compassion fatigue, and empower you to heal the wounds of trauma, relational crises, depression & anxiety. Here are examples of some of the techniques I teach in workshops and small groups:
 
Guided Imagery explores the power of imagery and creates a personalized healing environment that can be used anywhere, anytime to reinforce confidence and healthy decisions
              
Mindful Eating Meditation awakens you to the experience of being present for every bite; feel full faster, eat less, have fun!
 
Soft belly breathing to regulate body, mind & emotions while settling you in the present moment; increases concentration and memory functions

Autogenics & Biofeedback  the practice of self-regulation for management of acute or chronic stress; lowers blood pressure and heart rate

Breathing & Movement offers tools to manage anxiety, increase creativity & relieve stress

Use of Color & Collage embrace tactile, creative self-expression for greater self-awareness; an avenue to opening communication with family and loved ones - great for inter-generational exchanges

The benefits of group learning
Not only are small groups cost effective, but also a place where you can benefit from the knowledge and training of the facilitator while also learning from other members how to successfully apply these skills in your busy life. Group work offers you a supportive, like-minded community and adds to the fun of learning and healing. Workshops are available on-site at your office or agency and can be tailored to your groups needs and concerns.
